Our Curriculum
We wrote the framework for hybrid AI.
Our CurriculumThere is no playbook for hybrid AI yet. The industry is improvising. Some teams build cloud-only and bolt local on. Others build local-only and miss where the cloud wins. Neither approach holds up at fleet scale.
So we wrote one that does. Three frameworks, working as a system: the Eight Forces to qualify a workload, the Three Pillars to map it to the platform, and the Hybrid Routing Tree to route it across local, cloud, and hybrid. We use this framework ourselves; Microsoft's Local AI narrative reflects it. Our curriculum is how we teach it to your team as a discipline they can apply on their own workloads.
The Teknikos Hybrid AI Framework-
Qualify: The Eight Forces
The Teknikos Eight Forces framework is the connective tissue of the curriculum. They are introduced as drivers that determine whether a workload belongs on-device, in the cloud, or in a hybrid configuration. Your team learns to qualify candidate workloads against the Eight Forces before any architecture decisions are made. Skipping this step is the most common reason enterprise AI pilots stall.

Map: The Three Pillars
The Three Pillars are the platform layers a qualified workload maps to: AI Endpoints, Windows 11 as governance and runtime, and Microsoft Foundry on Windows as the developer abstraction. Each Pillar owns a different set of production decisions. The curriculum delivers a map from the AI workload to platform decisions, owners, and platform capabilities so the architecture holds up under business, IT, security, and compliance review.
-
Route: The Hybrid Routing Tree
The Teknikos Hybrid Routing Tree is the decision instrument that determines where a qualified workload runs at execution time and how its local and cloud components hand off to each other. Each branch carries definitive output your team learns to apply to AI workloads lifecycle as conditions, requirements, constraints, and capabilities evolve.
Teknikos WorkshopsLearn how to make Local and Hybrid AI work for you.
Teknikos workshops bring your team, our facilitators, and real AI workloads into the same room. The framework underneath is the same one we use to advise Microsoft on Surface and Local AI — qualify the workload, map it to the platform, route it across local, cloud, and hybrid. Validated in production. Taught in our customer rooms.
